About Steve Walton:
Steve Walton FMPA FRSA is a professional photographer, lecturer and author who has gained an international reputation for distinctive landscape photography.He has received many professional accolades for his work and to date has won the UK Landscape & Travel category three times at the prestigious annual showcase British Professional Photography Awards, in 2004, 2006 and again in 2007.
At the 2005 BPP Awards, Steve was presented with the coveted Presidential Award by the MPA/BIPP in recognition of his contribution as the MPA representative in the creation of the Digital Imaging Best Practice Guidelines, under the auspices of the Chartered Quality Institute. This benchmark document has been adopted worldwide as the standard for digital imaging best practice.
He is Course Director for photographic training specialists Contemporary Imaging Consultancy.
He is the author of the best-selling wedding photography book Contemporary Wedding Photography (David & Charles 2006. ISBN-10: 0-7153-2461-6).
Steve is a frequent and respected speaker at professional workshops, Focus on Imaging and other major photographic events.
Steve is a Fellow of the Master Photographers Association and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
